28/8/2011
A scientific trial designed to measure the effects of BioBrew on dairy calves began at Telford, A Division of Lincoln University, on Friday August 26, 2011.
The trial is a joint effort between The Clutha Agricultural Development Board, Lincoln University, Telford, and Biobrew Ltd and will run for seven weeks.
80 calves were weighed and split into four groups with two groups receiving BioBrew and two groups being raised without probiotic support.
In addition to weight gain, rates of scouring will be tracked and recorded during the trial.
The results will be independently reviewed and published by Lincoln University.
